Backhand
The group of shots where the player strikes the ball on the non-dominant side of their body with the dominant hand across the body. Due to the muscles used in this shot, most players find it harder to attack and defend backhands than forehands.

The application of a rough surface on a padel racket's face in order to assist players in generating spin on their shots.
