Chancletazo

What is a chancletazo?

Spanish for “a hit with a big flip-flop”, an allusion to the sound the shot makes as well as the motion with which the shot is hit. Imagine your mom or dad swinging at you when you said a curse.

This is an aggressive, flat, finishing shot from a player very close to the net when they receive an easy ball to their forehand side.
