Polyethylene
A material used in padel racket construction, usually for lower density, softer foams in the core of the racket. Polyethylene is generally used to make rackets more comfortable, which is vibration absorbing, and easy to play with because they make it easy to pass the ball over the net regardless of how effectively the ball is hit.
Roughness
The application of a rough surface on a padel racket's face in order to assist players in generating spin on their shots.
