Tweener
"Tweener" is short for "in between the legs."
A "tweener" is a shot hit in between the legs, often defensively. This occurs when a player hits a ball in between their legs. It is also known as a "Willy" after the Argentinian tennis player, Guillermo “Willy” Vilas, who shot a tweener in 1975.
