🔔 Review of 2024 model: Extreme Elite.
Head’s Delta series is a premium line made up of three models:
Arturo Coello’s power-focused Delta Pro
Paula Josemaría’s maneuverability-focused Delta Motion
All three are diamond-shaped rackets with high balances near 27 centimeters using Head’s Power Foam cores.
The Delta Elite weighs roughly 360 grams and has a fiberglass surface, which gives it a medium, medium-soft touch. In combination with its high balance, the lightweight racket offers ease of power, though it is not a power monster like its sister, the Head Delta Pro.
Its soft touch provides a racket with high ball output that will help you pass the ball in defensive situations.
The frame and soft surface give a wider-than-usual sweet spot for a diamond-shaped racket, providing a sense of security in defense for our reviewers. However, some felt their volleys lacked some control due to its soft surface.
Despite being lightweight, consider that its high balance will make it feel heavier than its total weight suggests. This is why we don’t recommend it to beginners. Those coming from round rackets will take time to adjust to the high balance.
