🔔 Review of 2024 model: Extreme Motion.
Head’s Delta series is a premium line made up of three models, Arturo Coello’s power-focused Delta Pro, Paula Josemaría’s maneuverability-focused Delta Motion, and the comfort-focused Delta Elite.
All three are diamond-shaped rackets with high balances near 27 centimeters using Head’s Power Foam cores.
The Delta Motion weighs roughly 360 grams and has a carbon fiber and graphite surface, which gives it a medium, medium-hard touch, which in combination with its high balance gives the lightweight racket a healthy dose of power, though it is not a power monster like its sister, the Head Delta Pro.
Its medium touch also gives it precision around the court.
Its construction gives a wider than usual sweet spot for a diamond-shaped racket, which gave our reviewers a sense of security in the back of the court.
Despite being lightweight, consider that its high balance will make it feel heavier than its total weight suggests. This is the reason we don’t recommend this to beginners. Those coming from round rackets will take time to adjust to the high balance.
Compare to an Air Viper.
