Kuima’s PR990 Precision Hard is a great addition to the Kuimka line for right-side or otherwise control-oriented players who prefer a hard touch.
This round-shaped racket has a hard core, which adds precision at the cost of reducing the size of the sweet spot and reducing the ball output.
This means that in defensive situations, players need to make contact in the center of the racket face, otherwise the ball will come out relatively dead.
Moreover, the limited ball output means that the player must follow through on their shots fully in order to effectively pass the ball from the back of the court.
This fills out the Kuikma lineup wonderfully.
We warn beginner players though, that despite this price and the racket’s shape, this racket does not suit a beginner player. It requires technique around the court to use properly.
Beginners will likely have issues swinging through the ball in order to achieve the placement that this racket offers.
