drop-shot Canyon Soft

7.4 / 10
Based on 4 expert reviews

Best for: This is a soft diamond, which is unusual. It pushes the ball with little swing. It’s a hammer not to hammer the ball, but to caress the ball and push your shots for you.

Shape: Diamond
Weight: 370g
Balance: Head Heavy

Where to Buy

drop-shot Canyon Soft padel racket - front view

Pros

  • With its soft core, it has free power.
  • Volleys are the best point of this racket - they had a lot of control. This is a racket for an experienced player because as soon as you get distracted, it shoots. But it shoots in a way that you don’t notice due to its soft core. It feels like high torque of a large truck engine.
  • It helps you in terms of the ball exit when you are tired. It doesn’t help you in general though, because it weighs so much. Compact movement of the arm helps you with this racket.

Cons

  • May not suit all play styles

About the Drop-shot Canyon Soft

Canyon Soft

Soft diamonds are not so common and the Dropshot Canyon Soft definitely fills this gap.

It scores relatively low because most of our reviewers find it difficult to control a racket with high weight, high balance and a soft core, but it will suit players seeking a comfortable “free power”-oriented racket.
