Augustin Tapia’s signature Nox AT10 is one of the best all-around rackets out there.
It has a “light” teardrop shape, falling somewhere between a round racket and a standard teardrop, which makes it super maneuverable, especially compared to standard teardrop and diamond format rackets.
To complicate padel racket selection, Nox inverts carbon fiber counts, so the 18K provides a pretty hard surface.
This combined with the new, denser HR3 core, gives the racket a medium-hard touch, which beginners and low-intermediates will find challenging. If this touch suits you though, it gives great control and power.
Of course, this racket is not designed for smashing, but versatility.
What you lose with the lack of weight in the head of the racket, you more than make up for with the maneuverability you get all around the court.
Sandblasted surface helps give decent spin, but will fade more quickly than 3D roughness.
The SmartStrap system is great for hygiene and wrist strap customization. And we’re already seeing other manufacturers, such as Babolat, catch on by implementing their own similar system. Kudos to Nox for figuring this out first.
Recommended for players seeking a racket with more punch than the ML10.
If you want a (softer) medium touch, or are a low-intermediate, go for the 12K.

"Recommended for medium or advanced level players who like a medium touch. It plays like it a hard racket but the touch is more medium. This works for people who want round format, but dont want the excessive ball exit and for those who in the offensive game don’t have the greatest strength, but don’t want to use a more technical racket to generate power."

"Very versatile and maneuverable racket - it makes you feel comfortable while also offering a great attack. Very complete. Two key drawbacks: the ball sticks in the racket for a moment upon impact in fast balls, and the sensations when missing the sweet spot are not nice."

"Excellent sensations with this racket have been excellent in the attack where we could achieve great power, but it is not a comfortable racket in defense."

"Great combination of maneuverability and medium-low ball output which helped me defending low slow balls while also allowing me to easily block fast balls at the net."
