The Head Coello Motion 2026 suits experienced players seeking an attacking racket with less weight than the Coello Pro. Its reactive response helps produce depth, but the high balance still takes work in hurried exchanges. A forgiving contact area does not automatically make a racket easy to maneuver.
Evidence reviewed October 21, 2026. This is Padel.fyi’s synthesis of three external reviews, not our own hands-on test. Sources and limitations are linked below.

Source: HEAD’s product page. HEAD classifies the feel as hard; both reviewed players describe a more moderate, reactive feel. Those are different assessments, not interchangeable measurements. Dani 13’s tested setup weighed 361 g with two overgrips after removing the original grip; that does not replace the nominal factory weight.
Dani 13, from 2:28, found easier movement than with the Pro, yet still had to prepare early. He describes helpful rebound and forgiving contact; harder defensive drives require restraint. Xeexi1707, from 2:40, also describes a reactive response, while identifying defense as a weaker area than attack.
Dani 13’s net comparison favors the Motion over the Pro for direction changes. Xeexi1707 struggles to move it, despite liking the volley when well positioned. His preference for a centered balance matters. If you already dislike weight at the head, the Motion name is not a reason to ignore that preference.
Xeexi1707 likes its acceleration on attacking overheads, but explicitly limits his own smash assessment later in the review. Dani 13 describes useful assistance and forgiving contact, while finding less flat-smash power than the Pro. We cannot establish a universal power ceiling from these two accounts.
Choose another direction if your priority is a centered balance, effortless reactions, or learning basic preparation. Players who prefer a dry, restrained response should also try the Motion before buying: its rebound is part of the appeal and part of the compromise.
Xeexi1707’s side-by-side comparison identifies appearance, the cord system and butt-cap feel as the main differences he notices. His older racket is worn, which limits a clean comparison. The evidence does not establish a large playing-performance upgrade. If you already enjoy the 2025 model, try the new one before paying for a replacement.
Both sources describe easier movement relative to the Pro. That comparison does not make it a low-balance racket: the Motion remains head-heavy. Your starting racket, preparation and preference for head weight are more useful than the model name alone.
It would not be our first recommendation for a beginner seeking easy defense. The evidence points toward an attacking player who can manage high balance. Forgiveness on off-center contact and ease of swinging are different qualities.

Scores marked as editorial are Padel.fyi interpretations of the individual source reviews, not reviewer-issued numbers. Where a reviewer supplies category ratings, we label and preserve them. Each review is scored only where its playing observations support a category. The overall page rating averages the scored reviews; each category averages only reviews that assess that category. “Not scored” means missing evidence, not poor performance. No comfort, spin or durability rating is inferred. See our review methodology for the scoring limits.

Padel Smash TV, July 21, 2026, provides a short two-host comparison. Both find the Motion easier to manage than the Pro; one favors its all-round play while the other prefers the Pro’s power. We score only control and handling because the segment does not support a complete category assessment. This is a narrower source than Dani’s detailed review.
