Best for: The Extreme Motion 2026 is the best Motion Head has made. The full carbon face delivers the feel and control that was missing, while the contained weight keeps it accessible. Not for passive defenders, but if you play with intention and like to take the net, this is a compelling option at its price point.

The Extreme Motion 2026 marks a significant step forward for Head’s lighter attack racket. The headline change is the move to full carbon faces — a feature previously reserved for the Pro model — which delivers noticeably improved feel and ball connection over the fiberglass-blend 2023 predecessor.
At roughly 360g with a head-heavy balance around 270mm, the Motion pairs its Power Foam core with a hybrid carbon-and-fiberglass face that produces a medium-hard touch. It’s firmer than the outgoing model but avoids the dry stiffness of the full-carbon Pro. Fabio Ferro described it as “more progressive and better connected to the ball” — a racket that rewards acceleration rather than just raw arm strength.
From the baseline, the Motion moves easily and inspires confident ball control. It’s less gratuitous than the 2023 version — you need to bring some technique — but the trade-off is better feel and a more predictable hitting experience. Lobs place cleanly, and defensive play benefits from the manageable weight.
At the net is where the Motion truly shines. PadelZoom awarded it an exceptional 9.5 for control, praising precision on volleys, bandejas, and viboras. Probando Palas noted “you know exactly where you’re hitting your bandeja.” The 3D Extreme Spin texture — described as close to a sandy finish — helps generate good spin without extreme roughness. The combination of light weight and head-heavy balance lets you arm volleys quickly while still carrying depth into the shot.
Overhead, the Motion delivers solid power without the physical demands of the Pro. Smashes benefit from the diamond shape’s leverage, and the Power Foam core pushes the ball through at medium-high rhythms. At full acceleration, reviewers noted the ball can absorb slightly — a sign of the medium-hard (not hard) touch — but El Chini Consejo confirmed it handles smashes well with proper technique.
The Motion sits comfortably between the accessible Extreme Team and the demanding Extreme Pro. If the Pro is Head’s Ferrari, the Motion is the daily driver that’s still fast enough to thrill — and won’t tire your arm after two hours.

"A versatile, maneuverable racket despite its diamond format and high balance. Good ball output from the baseline, decent at the net. The 3D roughness works well. Softer than the Delta Motion predecessor — not for players who want a hard racket. Recommended for intermediate players seeking controlled power."

"Positive overall. The Extreme Motion recovers a significantly better feeling compared to the previous model. More progressive, better connected to the ball. Moves well, good power for its weight. Not entirely gratuitous — requires a small toll of technique and attention — but a very pleasant all-rounder."

"Combines offensive solidity with outstanding control, without sacrificing maneuverability. Exceptional control in all zones, very maneuverable for a diamond racket. Firm and stable shot feel. Ball output is moderate — requires more accompaniment in defense."

"A very complete racket that has improved significantly over the previous model. Harder and more powerful, especially in acceleration. The sweet spot feels very good and ample. The 3D roughness is excellent, close to a sandy finish. Works very well at both medium and high rhythms."
