🔔 Review of 2024 model: Extreme Pro.
Arturo Coello’s Head Delta Pro is one of the most powerful rackets on the market. It weighs roughly 375 grams - about 10 grams more than the average racket weight - and has a very high balance, so players using this racket will sacrifice time in their pursuit of power.
Sacrificing time will result in challenges in the defense when you have to change direction based on the opposition’s shot placement or difficulties when scooping low balls out of the corner.
Further, it has a hard surface, which, combined with its diamond shape, makes the sweet spot small. Its hardness results in, again, super powerful shots at high speeds and great control, but low ball output, which may cause problems passing the ball back to the opposition in defense.
That being said, our reviewers noticed the massive power of this racket. Many found themselves smashing successfully from the back of the court on lobs they wouldn’t think about smashing with other rackets. We urge physically strong players seeking a highly powerful racket to consider the Head Delta Pro. It is a beautiful racket, which is perhaps why Head hasn’t felt the need to update it.

"The Head Delta Pro 2022 has a diamond shape and a top-heavy balance which then gives you very good offensive characteristics but it also means that the racket becomes slightly more difficult to play and then does not adapt to the beginner"

"Exceptionally high power and control make this racket a very strong partner for someone who can handle the small sweet spot."
