This line boasts numerous features, but here are a few highlights:
Slice roughness: 3D rough surface for spin generation
Summum design: 14.5 cm long handle, 1 cm longer racket face
Airflow design: large holes along the edge of the frame for aerodynamics
Prisma frame: pyramid-shaped edge along the frame to minimize wall contact
While some technology described in padel racket marketing can be of questionable help, reviewers found most of these features useful, from the “SLICE” roughness to the long racket handle. Professional players competing in different environments will find the Summer and Winter versions useful for playing in different temperatures - Summer is recommended for temperatures above 25 degrees and has denser foam to make up for the softening of foam that occurs in heat.
While this racket is targeted for professional players, advanced intermediate players interested in Varlion’s Prisma Airflow line will find this easier to play with than, for example, Mike Yanguas’s Bourne Summum Prisma Airflow racket, which is the same racket in a diamond shape.
Note: the snapshot review below is regarding the 2022 model, which is very similar - the main difference is the lack of Airflow, which softened the 2023 version.
